This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Charlotte is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This is a new place so Iβm going to give a little grace. Overall, the food we got was good however I was not pleased with the service. Not once did our server come to check on us or ask if we needed anything else after receiving our food. We even had to wait for a while to receive our check. Other patrons had to go to the front to check out because it was so long. Other tables were being checked on constantly and receiving great service which I canβt say was the same for us. Be aware.

If youβre look for a great dinner recommendation, THIS IS YOUR SIGN! The food was amazing and the flavors were rich and authentic. We had the Shrimp, Pork and Chive Dumplings, Chicken Xiao Long Bao, and The Chocolate Xiao Long Bao (We did share a lot of this). We went on a Sunday whilst it was busy and waited an hour for a table but overall, it was worth it!

The restaurant is conveniently located in a shopping center in University Plaza. Once you arrive, make sure to enter your name in the queue system or youβll be lost in the sauce. Our wait time was about 60 minutes for our table (party of 3) but once seated eveything went smoothly. Considering this is their first week in operation, Iβll give them the benefit of the doubt theyβll work out the wait time and host system. This was also a rush lunch hour after church so again this was expected. We ordered a variety of food including green beans (which had a bacon flavor to them) and egg rolls to start. Portions sizes were very good and the boiled dumplings were made well. They did fall apart when picked up and my guess would be they couldβve been cooked 30 seconds less. We shared a beef braised noodle soup and it did not disappoint. The beef was tender and the broth paired well with the other items. Iβm a big noodle soup guy so this is very important to me that your braised beef is on point. I was a happy camper and left very satisfied. Besides the wait time and some other small shortcomings I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting their Chinese food fix. Authentic Chinese

My family moved to NC from Cali in 2020 and for 6 years we've gone to a lot of restaurants that have been disappointing. This place tasted just like home! The food was so good, and the service was awesome! They made sure that we were comfortable and also gave tips on how some of the dumplings are to be eaten. I should have known it was going to be fire because they serve Chow Mein, and that's my favorite dish. I've only seen Lo Mein at other places and it just doesn't hit the same here. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. Today was a great day for food, we will be back!

This place has great potential. My spouse and I went on grand opening day and although busy it wasn't packed, however staff seems stressed. There were three hostesses and one was constantly stepping in and talking over the other two as they were helping guests, not sure if she felt or had more experience but it was a tad off putting. Our waiter was very nice and other staff seemed attentive to our table as they passed by, taking away dirty dishes. The team probably could use a couple of weeks learning how to work around each other, as I watched one person leave the double doors with nothing in their hands and nearly let it slam on another who had her hands full of drinks. Slow down for a second, be aware of your surroundings and work more efficiently. On the note of food, food itself was pretty good. We got the appetizer beef rolled pancake, which somehow was the last thing to come out. I feel appetizers should be served first, even if that means delaying the entrees. And speaking of entrees, we got the xiao long bao, the pan fried bao, and the pan fried thumb pork and chive which was the best. Food itself was good however flavor just needs a bit more oomph. I'm not mad at it b
